"I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes I will remember Your miracles of long ago." Psalm 77: 11 Happy new year to everyone! 2011 has filled us with yet again good and bad events that has made its mark in history. Image source: http://freechristianwallpaper.blogspot.com/ However, we should never forget the wonderful blessings that God has been giving us.  There may be rough times in our lives, but remember always that God will never cease to bless us abundantly. He has never left us in times when He needed us the most. And with that, we should never miss out on thanking Him for all these blessings. Remember: Don't count what is wrong... count your blessings instead! Doing so will make your life centered upon God and you'll find that life is indeed something worth living after all. God is good...ALL the TIME! ALL the TIME...God is good! Image source: http://www.stunningmesh.com/ Prayer: Heavenly Father, all praise and thanksgiving are yours

Love God, Love Others!

We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.  1 John 4:19-20 One of God's greatest gifts to us is LOVE. We are able to love because we are, FIRST of all, created out of love. Many of us out there proclaim and declare one's love for God, yet it does not show through our deeds. We can never feel the real meaning of God's love if we do not show it to others. Do we keep finding and pointing faults?  Do we neglect the needy? Do we treat badly those people who are dear to us? Maybe now is the time that we change these attitudes. Now is the time to say that we love God and MEAN what we say! Friends, Many people out there feel that they are not loved by God. It is up to us now to SHARE God's love to them and make them feel important as well!   We can start with our own family, then our friends, officemates, schoolm

Speak to me, God!

"I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His Word I put my hope." Psalm 130: 5 God speaks to us in many ways possible. He uses people and even circumstances in our lives just to get His message across.  Here  are some examples.  Maybe some instances you have encountered already and yet we just let it pass. We did not just let a circumstance pass, but the golden opportunity to hear and experience what God has in store for us. Many times have I mentioned in my previous posts that God cares for us, and He wants nothing less but our well being. I will not hesitate to repeat this fact because God speaks to us of nothing less than His love and care for us. His Words bears truths that are essential to our journey in life. Without His Words, we will find it difficult to get by with our lives. Friends, long for God's Words of truth and love. Make it part of your daily routine to find out how God reaches out to you. He does! We are oftentimes pre-occupied with so

Are you ready for Him?

"A voice of one calling in the wilderness: "Prepare for the way of the Lord!" " Isaiah 40: 3 Today we are being asked a simple question: How prepared are you when Christ comes again? This, I believe is not just a simple question... but a challenge , a call for us to rethink our ways and start preparing our way for that moment when Christ comes again in glory! You might ask: "How can we prepare for the coming of the Lord?" The answer is simple. SHARE. Share your... ...time! ...talent!           ...and treasure! We can be prepared for the coming of the Lord if we become more like Him everyday! A lot of people out there are in need of what we are willing to share.  Friends, now is the perfect opportunity for you to pay it forward! Bless and be blessed in return! All that we have, and all that we are comes from no less than God! So, it is but right that we share what we have been receiving from Him. Trust in Him that blessings will s

Every Gift Comes from God!

"Every good and perfect gift comes from above coming down from the Heavenly Father of the Heavenly Lights." James 1:17 Often, we get frustrated when there are times that we feel that God does not answer our prayers. We ask for something, we get a different one. This frustration leads to giving false judgements in terms of God's generosity. We feel that God is not on our side, He does not want to bless us, and so on. Friends, God's generosity can never be questioned. His intention of giving what is good for us is always a given fact. Recognize that God uses anything and everything just to give us what we really need, and not just simply what we want. Parents, in making sure that their child grows to be very responsible and appreciative only gives what is best for their children - what they need and not just simply what they want. God knows what is best for us. That is why we can boldly declare that anything that comes form God is good. He created the world f
